If it’s anywhere near you in Lexington, a city of 18, , you are certain to have all kinds of requirements before disturbing dirt. Out in the boonies there may be no restrictions. Just do whatever your little heart desires. If you buy land in non incorporated area with no building restrictions you can buy that land for pennies. Because it will likely be far from work, good roads, public infrastructure and even basic food needs. I doubt you have any laws such as NJ but when I was there, it was actually illegal to finance raw land with any federal bank. Owner finance was legal. But no lending institution would lend unless you owned that land free and clear. I’m only saying this to get you to think of every petty detail before doing this. Every contractual decision should be contingent on something else.
When jumpstarting a car you essentially give the dead battery just enough boost to start the engine and then rely on the alternator to charge the battery the rest of the way. When using a battery charger, you allow the battery to charge all the way before it will be used again. This should answer important questions such as what the voltage requirements are for charging your battery and whether or not you should remove it from the vehicle before charging.

TonyaA7 8 months ago Reply Hello, Like the work you’ve done. But i would like to know how you wired up the working components after you realized the is no need for bridge retifier. Just wonder if you could post a skematic like you have done with the corrections you mentioned. But I want to offer a couple corrections. You can tell he has his multimeter set on DC voltage in the video, this verifies that’s what’s coming out of his wall jack.
I guess it would save you if you accidentally connected the green and red wires backwards but just don’t do that. Second, if you already have DC, figure out what voltage you need for your device and use the LM L or another adjustable regulator. He has the resistor network connected incorrectly so refer to the datasheet from Texas Instruments. What you need to do is hook up the resistors so when you get your desired voltage on the Output pin, the Adj pin sees 1.
The way he shows it hooked up it looks like the circuit will just output 1. You need one resistor going from the output to the Adj pin, and one going from the Adj pin to your ground. Anyways, check your output with your multimeter before you hook it up to your valuable electronics. You can’t transmit DC over very long distances.

This Data Sheet looks at how to use this electricity supply safely and discusses its limitations.
Because your unit is mobile there is a greater likelihood of things going wrong with an electrical installation than with the fixed installation within your house. It is therefore important you make sure your cables and equipment are maintained in good condition by simple checks every time you use it, by regular inspections by a qualified technician and also by using it in a sensible way.
